Boston, June 26, 2024 – ZwitterCo, which is transforming water treatment industries worldwide through advanced membrane technologies, today announced that Sean Carey has joined its executive team as Vice President for Product Management and Strategy. With more than 25 years of experience in product management and commercial leadership within the life sciences industry, Sean brings a wealth of expertise to ZwitterCo with years of success building strong product management and commercial teams within high-technology companies.
In his new role, Sean will be responsible for setting the trajectory of innovative wastewater treatment solutions, expanding ZwitterCo’s award-winning fouling-immune technology to the next level, exploring new filtration opportunities in areas such as digestate, meat and poultry, ethanol, and more. Sean has led product management teams for both capital equipment as well as consumables and will work closely with R&D and sales teams to lead go-to-market strategies. His experience managing teams in the US, Europe, and China will play an important role as ZwitterCo expands sustainable solutions to a global market.
Sean’s previous roles include leading the product management team at GE Healthcare through its integration of Whatman – a well-recognized manufacturer of filtration and membrane technologies – and serving as Director of Product Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific for its Water Purification and Water Analysis portfolios. He also led a North American Sales team in the sales of membrane technologies for in-vitro diagnostics.
