Overview of Role

We are looking for a People Operations Manager who believes in our mission, shares our values, and wants to contribute to our People team as we grow and scale. In this role, you will help us make ZwitterCo a more engaging, effective, inclusive, and fun place to work. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll work on projects that will build and expand the infrastructure of our People systems and processes, enabling team members across the company to work more effectively while feeling seen and understood. This position will report to our CEO and will be critical for helping our company grow seamlessly and with a resolute focus on People experience.

Things you’ll do in your first year:

  • Improve and expand our new hire onboarding, offboarding, and employee recognition programs
  • Work closely with the executive team to ensure that communication strategies are implemented effectively, and that standards of feedback, transparency, accountability, and care are upheld throughout the organization
  • Support the Finance team in payroll processing, benefit administration, HRIS management, personnel files, and other core administration items
  • Coordinate and support company-wide communications and information sharing, both via Slack/Teams or email, as well as through in-person and virtual meetings
  • Collaborate with internal and external IT resources to improve technical support and employee experience across the company
  • Develop and execute on ideas that will enhance our company culture and experience while driving our diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Identify and implement ideas for improving other aspects of our talent management processes, including performance and engagement systems
  • Assist in maintaining and improving our physical office space both to ensure people have what they need and to reflect our culture and values
  • Support hiring managers with recruitment and selection processes

  • Prior experience in a People Operations/HR Generalist or Talent Acquisition type of role, with a solid foundation, and perhaps even some scar tissue, about what approaches work or do not work within the People function
  • Demonstrated passion for building a great experience for people through cultivating inclusive and equitable spaces
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to execute a project from start to finish while maintaining attention to detail
  • A natural inclination for thoughtful and inclusive change management practices
  • Ability to communicate thoughtfully and empathetically
  • A solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in dealing with ambiguity and performing in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and evolving processes and systems

Schedule, Travel, Compensation, and Location

This is a full-time position in Woburn, MA. The position will require regular in-office presence, though intermittent remote work can be reasonably accommodated. Travel outside of the main company HQ would be minimal.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and include a benefits package and company equity.
