ZwitterCo is seeking a Laboratory Technician with recent hands-on laboratory experience for a high-impact role in a rapidly expanding business. The candidate will play a key role in testing and evaluating ZwitterCo’s unique zwitterionic membranes, as well as performing testing for current and prospective customers. 

Candidates with experience in environmental or product testing laboratories are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Laboratory Technician will take responsibility for a variety of functions in ZwitterCo’s R&D Lab.

Responsibilities may include:

• Operate laboratory equipment

• Perform routine characterization testing and compile data in a clear and organized manner

• Assist with customer water testing

• Other responsibilities as assigned

• Have a keen interest in environmental and water technologies

Qualifications

Candidates should have a combination of an appropriate degree (two- or four-year) in a science field and 1+ years of hands-on laboratory experience.

Additional qualifications:

• Experience with running routine tests in a laboratory
• Basic statistical analysis (mean, standard deviations, confidence intervals)
• Be comfortable in a laboratory environment
• Experience with membrane or filter testing preferred
• Proficient in tools relevant to these fields, such as MS Excel and laboratory notebook maintenance 

This is a full-time position in Woburn, MA, and will report directly to the Senior Manager of Membrane Development.

Travel for this role is expected to be between 0% – 5%.
