Content Marketer

Overview of Role

ZwitterCo is seeking a proven content marketer to create and disseminate content that will attract and engage potential customers. This role will also assist with administrative tasks for the Marketing Communications team. Successful candidates will have experience planning, researching, creating, and analyzing content and be willing to learn technical material.  

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Following the content strategy, plan, research, write, and analyze blog posts; producing high-quality content
  • Create editorial calendar
  • Optimize content for SEO
  • Assist in the creation of content such as application briefs, case studies, white papers, e-books, buyers’ guides, and more
  • In line with the social media strategy, craft posts, research hashtags, source 3rd party articles, and create social media calendar
  • Assist with event logistics for trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Update and publish content on website
  • Review/edit pitch decks and presentations
  • Manage/sign up for memberships and subscriptions
  • Report on monthly KPIs
  • Organize and maintain data and files
  • Assist in writing bylines, editorials, and guest posts
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the membrane industry
  • Other duties, as assigned

    Qualifications

    Candidates must have a strong portfolio showcasing content writing experience in a previous role. Prior experience with membrane processes and spiral-wound membrane modules is not required.

    Other qualifications:

    • Proven experience writing content, preferably technical in nature
    • Proficient in MS Office, HubSpot, and WordPress or other Content Management Software
    • Understanding of web publishing requirements
    • Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
    • Expertise in social media platforms
    • Project management skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
    • Degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a similar field preferred
    Schedule, Travel, Compensation, and Location

    This position can be a remote role, located in the USA. Travel for this role is expected to be less than 10%.

    This role will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Programs.

    Compensation will be commensurate with experience and include equity and benefits.
